Would you let your daughter anywhere near him?Would you let your daughter anywhere near him?Balotelli is a car crash waiting to happen.

And who's to argue with Graeme Souness? Not me for sure, the Scot may have his playing days behind him but there is an air of menace about him that makes you realise why he ran Liverpools midfield so successfully in the early 80's

Souness played for seven seasons for the Reds winning five League Championships, three European Cups and four League Cups. Argue with that.

Seeing reviews of the Balotelli incident in City's 3-2 win over Spurs this morning on Sky News it's quite clear that Balotelli was having a descent of the red mist and he should be banned the full max.

There is no defence for Balotelli's madness and I predict Balotelli will end up with a rap sheet worse than Cantona if he's not stopped from being a complete and utter dickhead every time he crosses the white line.

Will the spineless FA do anything about it? Don't hold your breath. Referees report, video evidence blah blah blah.

Spurs did not deserve to lose the game 3-2 and ultimately it was a ridiculous challenge by Ledley King that cost them the point. Indeed if Defoe had grown half an inch taller they would have taken all three points and they outplayed city in the second half, the ball sliding agonisingly wide of the post Gascoigne style.

Even after this defeat Spurs are clearly on the up and up whilst in contrast Liverpool continue to produce Jekyll and Hyde performances that will have Dalglish showing his ruthless streak very shortly.

This abject 3-1 defeat to Bolton will have infuriated Dalglish and the players have already been publicly chided. I expect several to be shown the exit door and made an example of. He had no hesitation first time round and there is no reason that it will be any different this time.

Bolton showed all of the qualities of a team working together to extricate themselves from their relegation predicament whilst Liverpool rolled over and had their bellies tickled. Clearly their thoughts were on the two upcoming cup games against City and United.

All those on the fringes of the first team should be ready to step up. European qualification is surely beyond them now and Dalglish will bring in new blood from those knocking on the door in the reserves. Suso, Ecclestone, Flanagan and the rest can expect a call up to show the first teamers what it means to play for Liverpool.

It's a sign of how high their stars have risen that both Lucas and Spearing are badly missed in the Liverpool engine room.

Man United continue to find goals when they need them. It's just uncanny how they manage to find the winning goal time and time again. They've been doing it for years and whilst the defeat was hard on an Arsenal team who were knocking on the door for the winner Wenger's mysterious decision to remove their best player - 18 year old Oxade Chamberlain and replace him with the faltering Arshavin was an abomination.

Wenger certainly managed to rub the fans up the wrong way and the phone ins were not very complimentary at all to say the least. How much longer can you continue to build a team for the future?

Van Persie scored again and where would Arsenal be without him? He blasted the easiest chance wide of the post and made the most difficult finish look easy to redeem himself. Will he still be there if Arsenal fail to qualify for the champions league?
