Army Of Angels handed the Godolphin team a boost as he took the Listed VC Casino.com Stakes over an extended mile at Windsoron Monday night. The even-money favourite had to dig deep, however, as the Patrick Chamings-trained Take A Bow threw everything at him in the closing stages.

But Frankie Dettori managed to get that bit extra as the line approached and his mount prevailed by a neck. Winning trainer Saeed Bin Suroor said: "The horse was very well and everything was perfect - the ground, distance and class.
"We have no big plans and will try to keep him in this company in the future."
